www.beckestates.com/auctions/detail/1969-jaguar-e-type-convertible-bw8466
Auction description:
1969 E type Jaguar convertible
Fresh to the market, this car has been garage keep for the past 30 years while being restored. This car is part of an Estate. The current owner inherited the car from his father upon his death. Upon being at the body shop (in Norfolk, VA) to be painted, the car's bonnet disappeared, thus the reason for the replacement hood. It is believed that most of the car's parts (and bonnet accessory parts) that were removed for paint prep are present. Parts were unpacked and photographed to show contents. The carburetor has likely has been modified for improved performance ability.
