Advertised on Carsales.com.au, September 2013. Asking AUS$109,500. Seller's description: "The car was acquired by its current owner from Australia some seven years ago. At that time it had just completed a comprehensive nut and bolt restoration. The previous owner purchased the car in the USA, imported and restored it. At the time was car was converted to right hand drive. During the restoration it has had a number of sympathetic modifications and improvements to make it a more usable classic. The current owner of the car has maintained and improved the condition of the car during his custodianship and it has recently had a major service and the suspension rubbers replaced. It is ready for its new owner to drive, show and enjoy. The car has a rare factory hard top, soft top, tonneau cover and bag, books and tools. The odometer reads 11,238 miles."

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
