Owner: Jeff Drew

This is my first Jaguar. After a long line of Volkswagens, Mercedes, Audias and a Porsche I finally own one of the most beautiful cars ever built. I plan to completely restore it (but convert to triples).

Now, if you were planning on purchasing a 'trailer queen' or you are not serious about buy an 'e-type', please do not bid on this car. This auction is only for the genuine buyer who wants to be the envy of their friends driving around in a very attractive primrose yellow car.

Vehicle Condition

Just bought the car on e-bay. It is said to have had a bare-metal repaint and it looks as if that is true. The paint is beautiful. The chrome is good, the fit of the top a bit loose and the interior slightly rough. At present many of the electicals do not work (wipers, fuel gauge, blower fans, washer), but I intend to bring them all back. Rear suspension and brake rebuild to be done this winter (2004).

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
