This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster is finished in Regency Red over black leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six equipped with triple SU carburetors and linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a black soft top, a louvered clamshell hood, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wire wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a CD stereo, and a heater. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2022 and it was repainted in 2024. This XKE roadster is now offered with a copy of the Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, and a clean Florida title.
The car came finished from the factory in Regency Red and was repainted in 2024. Exterior equipment includes a replacement black soft top, glass-covered headlights, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, bright trim, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by earless knock-offs and are mounted with 185HR15 Michelin X tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. A push-button radio is retained ahead of the shifter, while a Sony CD stereo has been added below the glovebox. A tear on the driver’s seat is visible.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles, approximately 2,500 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 4.2-liter inline-six has been fitted with triple SU carburetors with Ram Flo air filters and tubular headers. The cylinder head was refreshed in 2013.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
A copy of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate lists the factory colors and serial numbers as well as a build date of May 13, 1969.
