On sale eBay UK July 2011

A project for the winter? Here we have a Series 2 4.2 Jaguar E type roadster. This car was originally a LEFT HAND DRIVE CAR and was imported and converted to Right Hand Drive in the late 80's.

Today this car shows 74991 miles, it is known it has covered only 1347 miles since being with its last owner in January 1990. The following work has all been done since with the last owner but this is not to say it doesn't need re-doing or that this car is in fine working order. This is a RESTORATION project and needs a lot of work doing as you can see in the photos.

New water pump, Kevlar hoses,
Discs and pads, Radiator reconditioned, Steering rack overhauled, New battery,
Stainless steel exhaust, New swivels and ball joints, New Spax shock absorbers, New engine mounts and sub frame bushes, New clutch master cylinder, Carbs rebuilt, Engine rebuilt.

This car needs a lot of work both inside and out as you can see from the photos. Even the paint is coming off the leather showing it was not originally black.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
