Sellers description:
This is a pampered XKE which I have owned for three years. Overall the condition is very good.
There are no dents or rust and the British Racing Green paint is very nice on an older restoration. The seats and interior are original and very good. The top is good and window clear. There are no major mechanical faults - recent work within 1000 miles include: complete suspension rework including new shocks, springs torsion bars etc. Also complete brake rebuild including master and booster units, wheel cylinders pads and rotors and all brake lines. Also new clutch and pressure plate, and machined flywheel, also the two strombergs were rebuilt including bead blast and rebush. Windshield and door glass just replaced. This is a solid and reliable car that you will want to drive home.
