I have converted the engine to electronic fuel injection using the hardware from a Daimler Double 6 (or XJS). The ECU is Megasquirt-II and ignition is via dual EDIS-6 distributorless ignition systems. I have videos on Youtube driving the car - Mr. Jagwit.

I have now converted the engine to electronic fuel injection using the hardware off a DD6. ECU is Megasquirt-II and ignition is via two EDIS-6 distributorless ignition systems. The car now returns excellent fuel economy (despite 1:1 4th) and power is as much as the V12 is capable of. The conversion was done in such a way that it can be reverted to original - kept all bits removed.

have recently bought this car from (Lofty) - challenge for me to master the EFI and Controller - done a lot of reading - car is in good mechanical order - but needs full restoration at some point - leaving it for now - many other jaguar projects to complete first and could not have another car half finished - but will eventually restore - probably keep it white - looks good

Just bought this car - very good runner but ned a new interior and a re-spray at some time - leaving for the moment - trying to finish some other projects first

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
