    Lot : 65
    1973 Jaguar E-Type V12 Roadster
    Estimate: SOLD for £24750
    Registration No: SPD930L
    Chassis No: 151698BW
    Engine No: 756922SA
    CC: 5343
    Colour: Met. Silver
    Trim Colour: Black
    MOT: March 2010

Finished in metallic silver with black leather upholstery, this particular example is described by the vendor as being in "A1" condition with regard to its engine, automatic transmission, electrical equipment, bodywork and paintwork (while, he rates the interior trim as "good"). Reportedly owned by the former proprietor of Philips Garage, the Birmingham-based Jaguar specialists, for the last fifteen years, `SPD 830L' is further understood to have covered "a little over 30,000 miles" and to be in "excellent, original order". Apparently benefiting from a recent service, this tempting E-type is offered for sale with a factory handbook, Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, Jaguar Heritage valuation of £33,000, assorted old MOTs / tax discs dating back to the 1970s and current MOT certificate valid until March 2010.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
