Seller's description:
The Jaguar V12 Roadster presented here belongs to the third and last series of the E-Type series. There is still a lot of information and instructions for this model, as well as a good supply of spare parts. Originally delivered to the UK and owned by a family in Germany since 1984, the E-Type has been with the current owner since 2020 and has been extensively restored. The entire history is traceable from the time of commissioning in Germany and is extensively documented with additional evidence and invoices, especially from 2017. The restoration of the E-Type began in the late 1990s, but was canceled due to a fatality. As of 2017, the restoration continued and was fully completed. Approx. 450 working hours were invested in the vehicle by a specialist workshop and approx. €25,000. Among other things, the following parts were renewed: brake calipers and lines, tank and fuel level sensor, ignition lock, bushings in the wishbones of the front axle, ball heads, radiator and hoses, heating and thermostat, ignition and lines, exhaust manifold at the front right, clutch sensor, alternator, convertible top and various lines, clamps, seals and trains, as well as all liquids. The carburetor, the headrests and sun visors were worked up, as well as other minor work carried out.
The E-Type can be viewed in Essen.
