I purchased this vehicle from Ken's Klassics in 2007 and imported to Australia. They were selling on behalf of the origonal owners' daughter. The car is living a charmed life where, before I took delivery, I had it mechanically refurbished to better than new condition. I replaced the 1972 tyres with thin whitewalls and retained the origonal 1972 spare tyre which has never been used. The car is fully registered and is driven each week. I have left the car LHD. It shares a garage with an 1974 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce 2000 and a 1985 Series 3 XJ6 Jaguar. Hopefully more to come.

I have posted 2 x photos, one of my first meeting with the car and the other my son guarding the vehicle when I was registering it. Note the new thin white wall tyres. Very hard to get in Australia.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
