This is a very late variant of the Series 3 Roadster. So 12 cylinders.

The car was delivered by the then official Jaguar dealer Auto König in Munich to its first owner V. Hausner, who registered the open-top Englishman for the first time on 6 August 1975 in the Bavarian capital.

Hausner enjoyed the twelve-cilinder for several years before the car underwent its last change of ownership within Upper Bavaria in November 1982. The fact that the E-Type has only been in second ownership since 1982 gives the V12 a complete history. A great rarity these days.

It can therefore be said with certainty that we are dealing with a beautiful matching numbers and matching colors vehicle that is in its unrestored original condition. Even 90% of the original paintwork is still present. For purely cosmetic reasons, the side skirts and the rear area at the tailpipes have been repainted once. The speedometer shows the original 28,600 KM. At the time, it was configured with the ‘Primrose’ paintwork in combination with the interior in the rare black/brown leather/cord combination.

Throughout its life, the Jag has received regular maintenance and love from its owner, which is the reason for its wonderful original condition. This included a dry ice blasting of the underbody. However, as the car has not been driven for the last few years, a major service will be carried out before handover to ensure that it is in tip-top condition, and 4 new tyres will be fitted to ensure that the car will continue to give its third owner plenty of fun and enjoyment.

Let's recap the highlights:

- German delivery

- 2 . Hand (since 1982)

- Matching Numbers

- Matching Colours

- Accident free

- Complete history

- Very good, original condition

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
