Vehicle Description
1973 Jaguar XKE-S3
What we have for you this time around is this absolutely beautiful 1973 Jaguar-XKE-S3. This car has only had two owners since new and has been with the current owner for the past 14 years, always stored in a climate controlled garage. The car has received a PPG concept paint job to its original color of Turquoise ten years ago. It has been buffed and polished to show condition on a regular basis. It also has received a chip protection on the lower quarters behind the wheels. That is the only type of restoration this has needed since new. The owner of the car would rate the paint a 9+ and from the awards and the pictures it is obvious that this car is in superb show quality condition. All the body panels line up great with no chips, scratched, dings or dents!
The Biscuit interior is as beautiful and soft as it is going to get! The seats, dash and carpet as you can see from the pictures are in great condition. The car has:
• The original AM/FM radio
• New carpet with the JAG logo
• Stainless Steel exhaust
• XJS fuel injection system
• Bosch Hi intake radiator with a electric fan
• New A/C compressor
• Power brakes
• Power steering
• Ported heads
• Convertible top boot
• New Tonneau cover
• New top and cover
• Right and left hand mirrors
• Cruise control
• Nardi Wood steering wheel and wood shift knob
All the gauges in the car are the original type and everything in the car works except the medium setting on the blower fro the heat and A/C. The A/C works fine and blows nice and cold. The modern T5 Borg Warner manual 5-speed transmission shifts nice and smooth, up and down. The V12 motor has a total of 31,100 original miles and runs like a Swiss watch. The car rides great on the set of large Dunlop tires. To put it in a nut shell, this car has been well maintained over the years with a few up grades. The original 4-speed transmission, Stomberg Carbs and intake manifolds, original steering wheel and shift knob and a new Hi rev starter go with the car to the new owner. This car always draws a large crowd of lookers whenever she gets out. The Jag won the best Jaguar/ popularity award at the Illinois British Car Show. If you are in the market for a fine automobile that is only going to climb in value over the years to come, this is the car for you. If you have any questions please feel free to call at any time. Good Luck!
