First registered with Cheshire County Council on 8 October 1971. Lot 39 at South West Vehicles Auctions Classic Car Sale on 29 January 2016. The car was purchased by the vendor's late brother in law who passed away two years ago. This E Type formed part of his estate hence the sale. He had plans for its complete restoration which sadly never started. In our opinion the car is a rare example of the Jaguar E Type fhc 2+2. The interior could do with tidying but the gaps look correct. There are not many 2+2 around. The brakes will require an overhaul and the floor pan will require some attention. There is rust in the spare wheel compartment. Unfortunately the clutch master cylinder packed in so we are selling it as a non runner. Odometer reads 67,667 miles, not warranted. Sold for £26,167.

This genuine right hand drive E Type was originally registered on 8 October 1971, and is a matching numbers example as confirmed by the Heritage Certificate. Having not been used much in recent times, she will require some work, the floor pans and boot floor will require some fabrication although it must be said she starts and runs well, the clutch and manual gearbox all operate correctly and it is finished in light blue with contrasting dark blue leather trim. Supplied with a V5C registration document, this E Type Series III v12 coupe is a great project taking into account parts and advice are readily available
