Advertised for sale on carsales.com.au 21 September 2024, asking AUD$109,000. Car is in Melbourne. Seller’s description (edited) follows:
The car was purchased by my father in 1985 in Melbourne. Fully restored by Jeremy Best of Cummins Classic Cars in Sydney in 2012 at a cost of $45,000 then. Car has been driven every fortnight since 2012, sometime only to lubricate and roll the tyres, but periodically does long runs as part of a group. Starts first time, every time, quite exceptional for a car of its age. A few stone chips and knicks as a result of longer country and coastal runs. “E72” custom registration plates are included for Victorian purchasers. Selling due to busy life of teenage kids who don't quite share my love affair and nostalgia. This car has been part of our family story and driving history for 39 years, it’s time for another family to take over and make amazing driving memories.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
