Offered here is an outstanding example of an S3 FHC, which has been the subject of a nut and bolt restoration, by Rees Brothers and is actually featured on their Website (www.reesbros.co.uk). The restoration was completed in 1991 but the car has covered a mere 8000 miles in the intervening 17 years.
Finished in Jaguar Racing Green with tan leather, the car sits on the correct chrome pressed wheels. The car is equipped with the 5.3 litre, all alloy, wet liner, V12 engine, which is mated to a four-speed, manual transmission. The engine has been fitted with SU carburettors, alloy radiator, more powerful electronic ignition and there are Spax shock absorbers to all four corners, for improved handling.
This outstanding example of a Series 3 E-Type is offered complete with a comprehensive history file, which includes a photographic record of the restoration. It is said to drive as well as it looks.
There are E-Types and there are E-Types. This is an opportunity to acquire one of the finest available.

This is an original UK car and comes with the original service passport, hand book, price list and various wall charts. There is also a large history file which includes a substantial number of old MoTs going back to 1986, parts and repair invoices. Paintwork invoices and photos. The invoices include one for the SU carburettor conversion, matched to tubular exhaust manifolds,which works well with the car being very responsive. Gaz adjustable shock absorbers are fitted.
