Selle's description:

Location: Reggio Emilia, ITALY

Stock #: JAG00014

Transmission: Manual

Condition: Good

Exterior: LIGHT - BLUE

Interior: BLACK

JAGUAR E-TYPE V12 COUPÉ – 1971

Chassis 4S – 51051

Engine 7S – 2196 – SA

Kl 615 gearbox

Power: 276 hp (203 kw - 272 hp)

Top speed: 238 km/h

Equipped with 2 Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and a camshaft on top for each bank, the V12 had 272 hp, with a sweet and progressive dispensing that made it a perfect Granturismo. The same long-pitched platform was used for both the coupe and spider version.

The manual transmission remained jaguar-billed, 4-speed, while the automatic transmission became the 3-speed Borg-Warner Typ12. For interiors, adjustable steering wheel with standard power steering and wooden upholstery.

Outside, the new Coupe exhibited a new chrome grille, an exhaust with four fan terminals, enlarged fenders and Dunlop E70 tyres mounted on standard steel rims.

Our Jaguar E-Tipe V12 Coupe

The paint is free of marks and scratches, as the body has recently been restored in its metallic blue color.

The interiors are preserved, with original black leather seats that feature traces of wear and tear for use.

The internal instrumentation is the original one and is functional.

Car with Italian license plate and documents, subjected by its last owner to regular revisions in recent years.

This specimen is today an excellent choice for the collector looking for an E-Type, certainly the most iconic of the Jaguars

The sound of this 12-cylinder, still remains today, one of the most beautiful melodies for lovers of this charming car manufacturer.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
