    Car offered at:

    www.lesanciennes.com/annonce/jaguar-type-e-serie-3-v12-coupe-1971-a534941&q=Jaguar

    Mileage: 35,600 km

The car was delivered by British Leyland France.

The vehicle appears to be third hand only, the history of the car is not fully known.

This Type E has been completely restored by its current owner.

The vehicle has only traveled less than 3000 KM since restoration.

The restoration file, all invoices are available as well as its expertise.

    - Revised original XJS Jaguar V12 injection engine. All new rubbers and hoses, oil seals, valve stems changed, injector rail refurbished as well as its cooling circuit.

-The gearbox is a 5-speed Getrag which works perfectly. The inlet and outlet spinnaker seals have been changed. The clutch is new as well as transmitter/receiver/circuit and hose. The pedals have been refurbished. -

-The gas tank has been cleaned and repainted. All the hoses have been changed like all the clamps. The injection pump is new.-

    - The exhaust line is in stainless steel and in good condition.

-Brake circuit, servo brake, discs, pads, all seals and hoses are new. the master cylinder has been restored. The 4 pliers have been re-ringed, the piston seals and the pistons are new. The parts of the front axle have all been re-plated, all the ball joints and silentblock rubbers have been changed as well as the bearings.

    - The rear axle has been completely repainted, seals and bearings on the 2 half-axles are new.

    - The bodywork has been completely stripped, the roof has been replaced by a pro. All parts have been primed in anti-rust primer, 6 coats of Old English White have been applied and the paint has been polyglossed. The underside of the car received 2 coats of anti-gravel before painting. The "Eiffel towers" and the hood support are new.----All the seals of the body have been changed to new.

-The electrical circuit has been revised and the whole re-sheathed. The various pressure gauges have been restored. The odometer is a "real" odometer but is pessimistic by about 10% given the gearbox and axle ratios

    - All the parts of the front headlights are new. The wiper motor is new. The heating unit has been refurbished and a more powerful fan than the original has been installed.

    - The passenger compartment has been completely redesigned apart from the rear bench seat. All of the trim panels are new. All vinyl surfaces, headlining, carpets are new. A layer of thermal sound insulation has been glued over the entire bottom of the car. Retractable seat belts.

The gray card is "normal". The technical inspection carried out ~2000 km ago is blank.
