This one of a kind Jaguar E-Type was built around the drivetrain and its power plant. A TWR Group-C race engine was expanded to 8800ccm displacement. The original TWR race heads are still in original condition. A new camshaft was fitted to work with the stroker crankshaft. The Motec ECU controls the fuel pumps, 12 coils, injectors and the fuel management system. Everything on this car has been upgraded to welcome the enormous increase of power 500-700bhp(Depending on the mapping you want to use). The transmission taken from a Lamborghini Jeep LM002. The differential was upgraded and offers a diff lock by Quaife. The shell was modified to fit the tires in wide handmade wheel arches . Due to the enormous engine modifications, the two master brake cylinders had to be placed behind the drivers seat. In addition to that AP-callipers, disks and pads were added. The fuel pumps and filters are located behind the passenger seat. Therefore this Series 3 is a two seater only. Porsche wheel hubs and prop shafts transfer the power straight to the rear wheels. Its a blast to drive and so much fun. Opening the taps makes your environment warp around you. The 12 custom air intakes combined with one throttle body each, whistle a heavenly tune. If your are looking for a very special and truly unique car, this is it! A full documentation of the built and lots of additional information is available.

A swift overview of the upgraded parts in the engine: The block machined to fit the bigger sleeves. The original TWR race heads are still untouched because they are just right for this built. Pistons, Con rods (Carillo), Crankshaft,Valves, Valve seats, Valve springs, Camshafts, and literally everything else has been upgraded to make this happen. Due to the extend of all modifications the engine is reliable is it can be. If maintained with water, oil and spark plugs it will easily do 80k-100k miles. The part prices only, add up to more than €100.000. The insurance valuation states €250.000. Full documentation is available.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
