11,321 MILES, ON EBAY 05/08, SELLER WRITES: This is a beautiful example of a classic car! It has custom paint and interior. It is excellent condition and meticulously maintained. An original car that runs great with only 11,000 miles!

www.russoandsteele.com/collector_car/1972_jaguar_xke_2_2_coupe__/42-6633.html

Auction description:
VIN: 1S73349BW
Lot Number: SN829

1972 XKE V-12 2+2 JAGUAR COUPE
Only 11,300 miles on this rare vehicle. In 1973 a very good personal friend of founder of Roman Chariot Inc., a customizing company in Cleveland Ohio with over 48 years in business brought the car to be customized.

The company painted the car Briarwood firemist metallic with co-ordinating saddle leather and crushed velvet interior. In 2004 the interior was changed to saddle leather and matching suede.

The car features V-12 power, automatic transmission with factory air, wire wheels in pristine condition, and with 4 new michilen tires with only 600 miles.

In August 18th, 1986 Roman Chariot purchased the car for the founders wife. The vehicle then had 8,122 miles. Since the car was already customized to her liking we kept it as is. The vehicle was kept in the showroom and used for car shows, charity events, and parades.

The vehicle has won many paint and interior awards during the 1980’s and 1990’s.The car showed as an asset to the company in which it showed the workmanship of the company. The car never used in inclement weather.

This vehicle is streetable and a powerful fun car to drive. Over $45,000.00 invested in this car.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
