Imported into the United Kingdom from the United States and registered JKH551L in October 2017. Sold by Classic Motor Cars of Bridgnorth in September 2021. Seller's description below.
www.cmccarsales.co.uk/carsales/jaguar-e-type-22/
CMC are pleased to offer this E Type 2+2 left hand drive V12 Coupe. Manufactured on 22nd December 1972, this car was finished in Old English White with French Blue interior trim which it has to this day. Imported by the current owner in 2017 who has carried out a significant amount of work with CMC and other specialists, JKH551L is now well sorted and ready to be enjoyed.
Accompanying this car are significant invoices covering the work carried out since the car's return to the UK as well as a JDHT Certificate and some original documentation. The car's engine number matches that recorded on the heritage certificate and overall the car is in nice original condition, and although we cannot verify if it is genuine, less than 36,000 miles are recorded on the odometer.
It has just undergone a 12,000 mile service and remedial works have been undertaken to the brakes, suspension, steering and fuel systems in order to prepare it for sale and bring the car to an excellent overall level of mechanical condition. Cosmetically the interior trim is in very good condition and overall it presents very well. Benefitting from air-conditioning, this car makes an excellent continental grand tourer, ready for next year's spin to the South of France.
