This is a 1971 Jaguar XKE roadster Texas barn find. The car was last driven in 1984 and parked in a dry storage garage ever since. This is a #s matching, all original roadster. The chassis # is P2R13880, Body # 4R8622, Engine # 7R12938-9, Gearbox # KE14279. The car is all complete with the spare wire wheel which still looks new and even has the original Dunlop tire! The car does have some rust though. The rust can be found on the lower trunk floor and the sills. The car still wears original Texas plates, registration, and inspection stickers. The car still has many areas that have original paint. There is one fairly large dent on the front of the hood. This is a late SII that has benefitted from the rare options of power steering and factory A/C! Never any wrecks or accidents. The car is straight as an arrow. All the chrome is in great condition- no dents, no major pits, and straight. Also included is the original jack and tools.

asked the seller to confirm this car number because there was another E-type posted here with that same number last week. He sent me the photo of the dataplate - hard to read but looks to be the correct car number.
