Perfect and clean engine bay, showing no alterations and or nasty modifications.
Car runs very solid, straight, strong and powerful. There is absolutely not weird noises, vibrations, nor nothing. Just had the Throttle linkage adjusted and She runs like a whistle. Absolutely no smoke coming from the perfect condition exhaust system.
The manufacture date is; August 1970. Title show as a 1971.
Odometer reads 57887....Who knows???? I don't....Even though, you can easy tell after having the car inspected and driven and because of that, having felt the body and structure, etc, that this one is definitely not a high mileage car. In any case, I can't and will not state the mileage on the car since I have no recollection and or any documentation in order to prove it. Nevertheless, the condition talks by itself.
Definitely not a Show Car...today... easy to became one... As far as I know I am the 3rd or 4th Owner.

Private Party or Dealer: Dealer
This 1971 Jaguar XKE is a Series II Roadster powered by a 4.2-liter twin-cam straight-six paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Finished in light blue over dark blue, the car has been driven approximately 1,500 miles by the selling dealer since his purchase two years ago. A longtime previous owner was reportedly a Jaguar Club of North America member, who at one point refreshed the engine, brakes, clutch, and carburetors. The car has undergone only routine maintenance and service under current ownership, including an oil and filter change and throttle-linkage adjustment performed four months ago. Located in Naples, Florida, this XKE roadster is being offered with some tools, its original jack, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean Kentucky title.
The seller believes the car has never been restored, though he believes an exterior repaint was performed in the past. The car has five knockoff wire wheels including the spare, featuring earless Jaguar spinner caps and 195/75 Goodyear Vector M+S tires. The spare tire is an older Dunlop SP Sport.
The Heritage Trust certificate indicates a build date of June 9, 1970 and distribution through British Leyland Motors in New York. It also confirms the factory Light Blue (JAG-507) exterior and Dark Blue interior colors, as well as a black canvas top. A replacement top was fitted in dark blue by a previous owner.
Interior functions are reported to work save for the analog clock, and some images of the gauges while the is car running can be viewed in the gallery.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph Smiths speedometer with a 5-digit odometer that currently shows 58k.
The seller states that the 4.2L straight-six was subjected to a compression test two years ago with satisfactory results, and that a service and inspection were performed every six months regardless of mileage. The car is reported to start on the first try and to run smoothly. A factory emission-control decal is present under the hood.
Additional images of the undercarriage are available in the gallery.
The sale includes a mallet, brass wheel spanner, and factory jack in vinyl sleeve, as well as a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate. Two walk-around videos are included below.
