Ebay item 8/9/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $3,500.00 (Reserve met), 21 bids, 3 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
I purchased this car in 1987 as a restoration project which halted in 1988 simply due to other business demands. The "other" business demands never subsided. The car has been in storage ever since. The engine & transmission remain in the car with many of the other components removed and boxed, but remain with the car. While there may be more missing items than those mentioned here, I do know the seats, brake lines, mufflers and related exhaust components have been lost over the years. The exhaust manifolds remain with the car. Most of the chrome, while removed from the car is in fair shape and remains. All the original glass remains with the car.

Vehicle Condition
NOTE: Car is not in operating condition with many of the car's components removed and boxed.

The rocker panels had been cut prior to my purchase, apparently due to rust. Both driver and passenger floor pans have rusted through and some other rust repairs are noted on the driver side, rear wheel arch.

The wiring harness is removed from the car but remains with the car, boxed. All original dash intruments remain with the car and are boxed, working condition unknown.

Door skins, bonnet and rear hatch are all in relatively good condition with only minor dents and dings.

Odometer reads around 55,000 miles, however, this cannot be verified as actual milage.

Car is sold "AS IS" with a clear Virginia Title

Based on Jaguar production numbers, this vehicle may in fact be a 1970 model year car, however, the Title does reflect 1971. The Vin number is 2R28122

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
