I bought this car in 1996 and owned it until about 2001. I bought it locally in London England from a guy who had bought it at auction a year or 2 earlier and done some work on it for re-sale. Prior to that it had had a long term owner who had to sell it when he got divorced - I remember tracking him down and calling him and he did not want to talk about the car because he was so upset about having had to sell it.
I remember that it was first owned by a motoring journalist called Dennis May (the guy I bought it from had done a lot or research on its history). I think he had owned it until about the 1970's.
When I had the car it was in good shape but basically a nice driver. I used it at weekends and loved it. I only sold it because my wife and I had a kid so we bought a V12 2+2. For a while I had the 2 of them which was great.
Anyway I don't know who has it now but hope it is still being enjoyed!
