I am the current owner of this car. I purchased it in 1978.

The first owner was Dave Clark of the Dave Clark Five band. The second owner was Mike Smith, lead singer of the Dave Clark Five band until I purchased it in 1978 and am only the third owner.

It was used for a lot of promotional work by Dave Clark for the band back in the 60s and must be one the most photographed E Types from that period. The car is in excellent condition and has been seen at many club and Jaguar events, attending the 2011 run for 50 years of E Type to Geneva.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
