Original flat floor car.Competition wires, roadster seats, additional brake boosters, low ratio diff. This car was imported to NZ in 1968 by a Mr John Martin. I have had some contact with him and he informed me that he was mechanic on a racing team in the early 60s and this was his driver. He said the car had been driven at Goodwood by Alan Rees. It would be interesting to know more of its UK history as the cars were very hard to obtain early on it may have had an interesting 1st owner. I have owned this car since the late 80s, but it has not been on the road since 1977. The car is complete and was still a runner, apart from a couple of colour changes early in its life it would appear that it has never been apart or even partly restored. Quite unique to have one that has not been touched for so long. It is in good condition for its age but needs a full restoration. The car still has the original radiator complete with ID tag and it has a very early gearbox number.[eb 102 js] I Have had a bit of contact with some of its NZ owners but I would like to know more if there are any previous owners out there. Will put some photos on soon.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
