Auction description:
Lot 130 of 147: 1962 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Coupe
- Matching numbers car with heritage certificate
- In storage since 1983
- One of 1179 RHD cars built

Supplied by Henlys in London to a Mr J G Clark. This delightful E-type has been off the road since 1983. The vendor has provided us with the following information :

" The car was purchased by a friend of mine ,an avid car collector in the late seventies, very early eighties but as was the case with most of his vehicles, was run for a while and then put into a large barn and forgotten about ; this was the early eighties and never moved again.
It still sports it's original headlights and everything under the bonnet is complete and correct. The engine condtion is unknown at this time but there is no frost damage etc. and was driven into storage all these years ago "

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
