This car was confirmed as written off in the late 80's or early 90's.
The car was originally painted yellow then blue and finally Violet!
The original registration was 4137 VT as confirmed by the old green log book that was recently sold (22 July '04) on ebay UK.
It would not surprise me if this car resurfaced in the coming years, why else would someone pay £231.50 for it.

A pale primrose series 1 FHC bearing the number 4137 VT was seen at Ormskirk Motorfest on 28 Aug 2016. I assume this isn't the same car but has had the number transferred onto an existing series 1 FHC.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
