1964 Jaguar E Type S1 3.8 FHC RHD

This March 1964 E Type 3.8 S1 is a matching number vehicle, Chassis No. 861603. she is a complete car for restoration and is for sale with a fresh body to replace her rather tired existing shell.

Originally delivered to Lincoln and first registered as EVL 1 (Evil One?), unfortunately the plate is long gone! Original colour scheme being Opalescent Dark Green with Suede Green interior. Reputed to have racing history, she is fitted with dual servo's and carb. trumpets, so who knows!

Last change of owner Feb 1975 and complete with green Log Book, this is indeed a rare vehicle for restoration.

I acquired this car in 2005. Whilst being very complete it does indeed need a new shell as it would seem to have been parked in a field.
On closer inspection it has an all synchro close ratio Jaguar gearbox, Yippee !!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
