A lifelong ambition fulfilled after having a trip in an e-type when I was 17yrs old. It always puts a smile on my face and makes me feel so alive and good after driving her! I realise how much people have missed out who have never driven or had the passion for owning one of these beasts.

Hi Steve,
Great car and great pictures. My car is two before yours on the production line! Your picture will be useful to get mine nearer to original. For example, my washer bottle has only to connector but three wires. I see yours has all three. I'll have to try to find the right one, although I've no idea what the third wire will do!
There's something unusual about the boot lid hinge covers that you might not know. I'll have to check but I think mine was the first to have these covers, which would make yours the third!
Cheers,
Rob.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
