For sale at Clayton Classic Restorations of Coventry. Seller's description below. The URL is www.claytonclassics.co.uk/car-showroom/jaguar-etype-demonstrator

Restored to concours standard in 1990, this car ran very few miles before acquisition by the current owner in 1996. After 60,000 spirited miles, it went through another 'back to bare shell' restoration and refurbishment as our demonstrator in 2008/2009, with concours standard paint and new trim. Finished in silver with deep red trim, this is a superb, comfortable driving car, with all matching numbers.

Details include full air conditioning and heating upgrade, Sundym glass and Webasto sunroof, cooling system upgrade, 5 speed T5 gearbox, diaphragm clutch, brake upgrades, front and rear suspension upgrades with Koni shock absorbers, competition chrome wire wheels with 205/70 tyres, wiper upgrade ,Halogen headlights ,alternator upgrade, fully re-conditioned engine, unleaded and balanced, custom stainless steel exhaust, Clayton sports reclining seats.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
