    Car listed for sale at:

    www.classicjaguar.com/042161.html

    1961 (outside latch) E Type roadster - 875117
Beautiful older restoration - fantastic value!
    Year: 1961
    Model: E Type roadster
    Red/Biscuit

    1961 Jaguar E Type roadster - Chassis # 875117

This very rare car was the subject of a ground up restoration by Predator Jaguar to concours standards. It has only been driven 2000 miles since the restoration was completed 7 years ago and it is still in absolutely excellent condition.

Although this is not a matching number car (has the correct 3.8 E Type engine but not the original) the restoration was done to original specifications throughout and the car shows extremely well.

Represents excellent value in today's market at only $55,000

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
