Sellers description:
Jaguar E-Type Series 1 1962 Flatfloor Roadster to be restored

The car is a very good base for restoration, 98% without rust. Car hood is damaged, subframe is without damages. The engine is an original XK150 3.5 ltr. So a very good restorationproject and obviously a very good investment.

Car has USA title and document import duties for every EU country are paid by us. Documentation is complete for registration in every EU country. You do not need to pay any importduties. We can help with transport. Trading in, buying and consignment possible.

How exactly is this crashed, cut, ruined, car with non-original engine and transmission a good investment at the quoted asking price € 105.000??

Car does not have original motor. Does not Jaguar Vin Plate, not brace holding the torsion bars. Pity.

Isn't this a S3 body? See the flared wheel arches...

Judging by the floor pans it is the correct body but somebody has added the flared arches in the cars past (why??). Looks dreadful. Whole car is a mess. Looks like it's several bits of several cars cobbled together. Your are basically just paying for the ID.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
