Auction description:

The vendor purchased this left-hand drive E-Type roadster from a friend of his around 12 years ago. At approximately the same time, the car was re-sprayed, the rear axle removed, the differential overhauled and the Silentbloc suspension bushes renewed at the Speedwell Garage. In addition, a new fuse board and an electric cooling fan have been fitted. The owner has used the car regularly but sparingly over the past 12 years, covering fewer than 5,000 kilometres, during which time it has been serviced regularly by Garage de la Poste.

Finished in the attractive colour combination of dark blue with cream leather interior, the latter nicely patinated, this lovely E-Type is presented in generally good condition and offered with French Carte Grise.

Sold for €51,750 inclusive of Buyer's Premium

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
