    Sellers comment:
PREVIOUSLY OWNED FOR 27 YEARS BY AN ELDERLY SOUTHERN GENTLEMAN,THIS CAR WAS ALWAYS WELL KEPT AND MAINTAINED.
ORIGINAL 3.8 ENGINE WITH CRASHBOX ,POLKA DOT ALUMINUM INTERIOR FASCIA , S****BACK LEATHER SEATS , CHROME WIRE WHEELS , THIS IS THE WAY TO FIND THEM

NO SERIOUS CORROSION EVER , THE BODY IS VERY STRAIGHT WITH SOME MINOR DINGS AND DENTS AND WAS LAST PAINTED BACK IN THE 1980'S

INTERIOR LOOKS VERY ORIGINAL INCLUDING LEATHER SEATS ,WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CARPETS AND HARDURA WHICH WERE PREVIOUSLY REPLACED WITH AFTERMARKET KITS . THE CONVERTIBLE TOP LOOKS FAIRLY NEW

ENGINE STARTS ON THE BUTTON , GOOD OIL PRESSURE , NO SMOKE OR STRANGE NOISES , THE CAR GOES DOWN THE ROAD STRAIGHT , CLUTCH AND BRAKES SEEM TO BE IN GOOD ORDER ,TIRE RUBBER IS VERY DRY , ONE SMALL EXHAUST LEAK AT THE CONNECTION BUT CHROME RESONATORS LOOK NICE AS DOES MOST ALL THE CHROME ON THE CAR .

THIS IS THE CAR THAT EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR BUT QUITE HONESTLY IS NOT THAT EASY TO FIND ANYMORE ... AN EARLY 3.8 MATCHING NUMBER UNRESTORED AND STRUCTUARLLY SOUND CAR WITH NO MAJOR ISSUES THAT CAN BE DRIVEN AS IS OR RESTORED...A SOLID ORIGINAL CAR , NOT TO BE MISSED !

The car is now in transit to Denmark where restauration will be initiated to bring it back to its original glory. Up-adtes will come later.

The car is now being disassembled. The steering and suspension is being restored. Later this winter (2005) it will have some rust repair done - new sills and floors. Then a full paint job (opalescent gunmetal) and new interior (dark blue) - bringing it back to original specification.
Sellers description on "NO SERIOUS CORROSION EVER , THE BODY IS VERY STRAIGHT..." unfortunately was not true.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
