Ebay item 7/8/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $13,100 reserve not met, 9 bids 4 days left in auction. Complete VIN on this car is J62876950. 48k miles.

Sellers description:
I am listing this car for the second owner since 1970.

Early Series 1 with 3.8 liter gold high compression "Straight port" cylinder head with 3 x SU carburetors and 4 speed manual trans. This is a low mileage car that was parked and forgotten in ’75.Original black paint with red interior (reupholstered in the early 70s) with correct aluminum instrument panel . Compleat set of original wire wheels on the car and holding air. The car appears to be good condition considering it sat for thirty five years. It was running at the time it was parked and had the gas tank removed (it will ofcourse be included in the sale). The car appears to have had some floor pan work done before it was parked and there is some minor rust in the door skins. The bonnet and engine compartment look to be complete and in excellent condition. This is a great opportunity to obtain an early model XKE for a reasonable price.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
