1964 Jaguar xkE Series 1 3.8 Liter Roadster
VIN # 879917

Our Jaguar was previously owned by Mike Anthony, the infamous bassist for Van Halen. Over $100,000.00 was spent in the total restoration of this car!

Details: Show Driver Vehicle

This Jaguar has undergone a professional show driver level restoration by its previous owner, documented with comprehensive and detailed photos. A thorough and complete restoration, the body was placed on a rotisserie and stripped to bare metal. The XKE was then painted, color sanded and buffed to a high level. The components were restored or replaced. The chrome has been rechromed or replaced as necessary. All new rubber seals were installed. A new and proper interior has been installed. This Jaguar has also been upgraded to the more durable 4.2 fully synchronized transmission which makes this a better driver.

Meticulously kept since restoration, this is a very good vehicle to own and drive. Very few miles have been driven since the restoration. The previous owner states that the 49,675 miles showing are original.

Car returns to ebay 10/3/03 as item# 2435746729
Current bid $27k, five bids, reserve not met, 9 days left in the auction. The last auction had an opening bid of $80k, the car received no bids. That might be a clue as to where the reserve is in this auction.
