Delivered new to Mr. B. Aderman of Washington D.C., USA on the 13th January 1964, this lefthand drive Jaguar E-Type roadster was refurbished to the very highest of standards in the mid 1990's and has had very little use since. During the restoration, the engine was rebuilt with an up-rated radiator and electric fan, the bodywork was stripped and great attention was given to making sure that the door, bonnet and boot lid gaps were perfect before being repainted in opalescent silver blue. Imported to the UK in 2012, the vendor set about up-rating the car by fitting a new Guy Broad 'Broadsport' five-speed gearbox, Coopercraft brakes, new wheels and tyres and a new hood cover. This beautiful E-Type, with its unblemished paint and excellent chrome has a restored interior in dark blue with the slightly later, more comfortable seats. It comes supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires on the 1st April 2014, the US title document and a file of the invoices for the work carried out in the UK. Enzo Ferrari was quite right when he declared the E-Type Jaguar to be the most beautiful motorcar of all time. This long-legged, stylish and comfortable icon is an ideal investment and equally admired both sides of the Atlantic.
