Current bid $5,100 reserve not met, 9 bids, 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1964 XKE Roadster 3.8 liter engine. It is a 2 owner low mile car having only 60,150 ORIGINAL miles. It is a factory red car with black interior. A SOUTHERN car that has always been garaged kept. All of the numbers match, car # 881222, engine # RA 5974-9. It has new Bartlett upholstery, new Pirelli tires, new battery and sanding unit. The car runs excellent, excellent oil pressure. The chrome is in good condition as is the top. The car has been repainted, the paint is older but it presents well. Body is in excellent condition. There is a small dent on the hood, someone closed the hood with a tool in the engine area which left the dent, a high spot. The foot well area on the driver's side had some rust at one point it was replaced with a flat piece of metal. The trunk and battery box area have no rust, body as good as you can get . There is a small oil leak in the engine like any Jag.
The car is located in South Carolina. Current owner, the second, has owned the car since the 1980's. The owner had a shop specializing in British Sports Cars for over 35 years, this was his personal car. The car can be driven and enjoyed as, it would take very little to make this a show car. This is a very solid well kept car a true piece of automotive history, do not let this opportunity pass you by.
