Restored by Images Auto Body in Campbell, California, this Cotswold Blue 1964 Jaguar E-Type Roadster scored 99.5 of a possible 100 points at the Jaguar Club of North America Champion Division Challenge. Rolling on wide whitewall tires wrapping chrome-wire wheels, the roadster is uniquely appointed with dual sideview mirrors and fog lamps, both of which lend the car a certain level of aesthetic balance and period-correct interest. Powered by the famed and fabled 3.8L/265 HP DOHC inline 6-cylinder engine with a 4-speed manual transmission, the engine is fed by exquisite triple side-draft carburetors. The look under the hood is fantastic, as is the rest of the car, with polished-aluminum and bright chrome elements highlighting the scene. The interior is upholstered in black leather and features the requisite wooden 3-spoke steering wheel and multitude of toggle switches and gauges, all of which combine to help create the tremendous driving experience E-Types are known for. The tan convertible top looks terrific against the light silvery blue paint and envelopes the interior, creating a cozy, snug environment that offers a feeling like few others. And then there's the sound. Fire up the engine, hear the carburetors sucking in the atmosphere, and experience the throaty growl of the exhaust: the thrill is hair-raising. Few cars stir the emotions like an E-Type. The look is second to none, the sounds are impossible to beat and the driving experience is exhilarating indeed. When it comes to dream cars, it's arguable that the E-Types wrote the book, or at least had a heavy hand at editing the text. Few cars fuel the imaginations and ignite the soul as easily as these 1960s Jaguars.

Beautiful car. I noticed that the incorrect ashtray area / console from a much earlier 1964 was finally replaced with the proper July 64 era console and rectangular ashtray. Someone noticed.....but now the armrests are missing.....go figure !
