I imported this car into Australia in 2008. It was returned to the UK in 1989, restored and converted to right had drive by M&C Wilkinson. Also upgraded with all-synchro box, series 3 front brakes, alternator, kenlow cooling fan and 6 branch manifold

After consulting the JDHT it was discovered that 885175 had been given the wrong body number at some stage. The ID plate was stamped V1114 when in fact the correct body number is V1206. A new JDHT Heritage Certificate was issued confirming this.

1961 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Fixed Head Coupe. Early flat floor car built 8th November 1961. Sold new by Jaguar Cars New York. Restored and professionally converted to right hand drive in 1990.
Fully rebuilt front and rear suspensions. As new Dunlop 5” chrome wires. Recent new clutch, new reproduction factory style aluminium radiator, new header tank, uprated electric cooling fan, new cooling hoses and dynamo style alternator. Reconditioned water pump and crank pulley. Period Motorola radio with iPhone connectivity. Original Wilmot Breeden keys on reproduction 1961 E-Type key fob. Complete tool roll.
Large history file and various Jaguar factory publications included.
Has featured in several photo shoots, a mens fashion accessories advertisement, won several Jaguar National Rally awards and was displayed in the Hyatt Canberra Hotel as the feature car for the Jaguar National Rally celebrating 50 years of the E-Type.
