Current bid $11,600 reserve not met, 7 bids, 4 days left in auction. Car still said to be in Baton Rouge.

Sellers description:
EARLY E-type coupe. Matching numbers (chassis 885392, body V1528, eng. R3375-9, trans. EB2506JS). Has additional factory body number gusset on bonnet. Flat floors, flat rear bulkhead, welded-in louvers. No rust, no body damage, ex-California blue plate car. Was running and driving when parked five years ago, with brakes and suspension done, stainless exhaust installed, carbs rebuild. Originally opel. bronze with beige interior. Seats dyed black with cheap vinyl door panels and carpet installed. Totally complete, nothing missing, no excuses. Will run with new gas and battery.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
