Car listed on EBay:
coupe.it had an older restoration years ago and looks to need another,This car is complete front to rear and was told it was last ran 4 years ago..was told it has a trans update..brakes are frozen and motor turns over.interior shows some wear and carpet needs replaced.all glass good and wood steering wheel is also nice ..Does not look like it would take much to make this rare and classic car really shine. some chrome needs redone now .has factory wire wheels and bias tires.power brakes,160 mph speedo and 6,000 rpm tach.I see no rust and only slight scratches and no dents .never wrecked.
Vehicle Condition: Nice older car needs some work to make a real classic no rust or dents.few dings if any.will run, bad brakes

The car has been the recipient of a full rotisserie restoration by Catz Automotive, a Jaguar marque specialist in Ohio. The quality of the restoration and the condition of this car cannot be overstated; it is one of the finest examples of a show car we have ever seen. Finished in its stunning color combination of Dark Grey over a Red leather interior. The Silver Grey paint in show quality and all the trim and rubber is in show condition. The Red leather interior is likewise in near new condition. The original engine was rebuilt and runs as designed; it makes great power and torque. The transmission shifts well and the car drives like new. This E-type benefits from a few modern upgrades that make the car more driveable. It features electric power steering (hidden so well that even an expert would have trouble seeing it) which can be removed if desired. The accompanying Jaguar Heritage Certificate documents that the car was completed at the Coventry works on August 6, 1962. In August 1962, this Jaguar was dispatched to New York where it was acquired by it first owner,C. Kochoff soon after. As one of the earlier coupes built for the North American market with left hand drive, this E-type is a highly sought-after example. A complete frame-off restoration was completed in 2005 with an emphasis on drivability and a meticulous attention to detail. Fanatical upkeep and maintenance has been employed since, ensuring that this E-type has been kept at high level both cosmetically and mechanically. We are proud to offer this stunning 1962 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Fixed Head Coupe to the most particular collector, investor or enthusiast who appreciates the provenance and rarity of the early Jaguar E-Type.
