1963 Jaguar XKE 3.8 Series 1
First time in 45 years this XKE has been on the market.
North Western car it's entire life
Matching numbers engine
Rare and desirable
Has mechanical needs
This Series one Jaguar is located in Hailey ID at the Sun Valley Auto Club. Presented to you as found in the family barn. Family owned since 1970, with a title transfer going to the daughter in 1992. XKE with Car# 887918 Engine # R9465-9 all taken from the data tag. Engine Stamp reads the same R9465-9. This is a very well loved car and very complete car. Along with the care that long owner ship provides, this Series 1 lived its life in the very dry and arid climate of South East Washington state. The dry western climate has done wonders in the preservation of this highly sought after classic. The father did experience some complications and in order to keep driving the Jaguar he had the car converted to an automatic. The current location of the original transmission is unknown. This is a very complete car with excellent chrome and bright work. Very solid body with no visible rust.
