For sale on Ebay, classified ad price : £95,000
    www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1964-Jaguar-E-Type-3-8-FHC-LHD-/302194307953

    Seller's description :
    1964 Jaguar E Type 3.8 FHC LHD.

    Chassis number: 889221

    Registration Number: PTU342B

This Jaguar E Type 3.8 FHC is matching numbers and rot free. A large history file comes with the car detailing assorted works done to it over the years including bills for work done in its original home, the USA where it was supplied.

Upon repatriation to the UK, the car was delivered to E Type Specialists, Moss Jaguar, where the following works were completed:

    Silicone radiator hoses
    Coolcat radiator fan
    Classic Jaguar Aluminium Radiator
    Polybush steering rack mounts
    Uprated engine mounts
    New exhaust heat shields
    Dynamat fitted to floor pans
Various under bonnet parts nickel plated or powder coated
    H4 Upgraded headlights
    Doors stripped and waxoyled
    MOT and UK Registration.

The Jaguar is finished in Primrose yellow which is not quite as bright as in the photographs which were taken in the evening sun & make the car appear deeper in colour then it actually is. To the interior is Black hide throughout with matching black carpets.

The car comes to us in fine order throughout & is ready for immediate use. It starts readily & drives beautifully with particularly good handling due to the recent suspension work.

Car to be at auction 7/17
    www.handh.co.uk/buy/1964-jaguar-e-type-38-coupe/14203

    Auction description:
    26/07/2017

    Location
    Imperial War Museum Duxford
    Lot No 105
    Make Jaguar
    Model E-Type 3.8 Coupe
    Year 1964
    Vehicle Registration PTU342B
    Chassis Number 889221
    Engine Number RA3600-9
    CC 3781
    Body Colour Primrose Yellow
    Trim Colour Black
    Estimate £70000 - 75000*

The example on offer - a lefthand drive September 1963 3.8-engined Coupe finished in Primrose Yellow and trimmed in Black. It was shipped new to Jaguar Cars New York and on to California where 'PTU 342B' has spent the bulk of its life. It is understood to have been used sparingly, meaning the indicated mileage of just 21,339 is credible, though not warranted. The Jaguar returned to these shores in late 2015, since when it has been tended to by Moss Jaguar Ltd, who have: stripped and Waxoyled the doors; installed a new Classic Jaguar alloy radiator, Coolcat fan, silicone radiator hoses, Polybush steering rack mounts, upgraded engine mounts, and exhaust heat shields; fitted Dynamat to the floor pans and H4 headlight upgrades; and powder or nickel plated various under-bonnet parts. The vendor presently grades the interior trim as 'very good' and the bodywork, paintwork, engine and transmission as 'good', and is offering the car with a new MOT.
