Ebay item 7/12/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Opening bid $12,000.00 (Reserve not met), no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
I have known the owners of this car for over 24 years. The car belonged to my dentist, and he sold it to a friend of mine who was a local parts dealer. It has been garaged all it's life. Car is original Jag blue in color. Interior leather believed to be original. Original engine and front frames are included in this auction.
V8, 327, 350 horse Chevorlet engine; can furnish block number. Engine has been rebuilt with less than 2,000 miles. Believed to have 400+ horsepower. Will give $1000 credit for Chevy engine if winner decides they do not want it.
Vehicle Condition
Very strong driver, not a show car. From 20 feet, car looks great. Paint job is at least 17 years old, so there are some nicks & scratches. The only damage I can see is at the tag light in the rear...looks like it's been bumped, and it has a couple of garage dings. A ladder fell on the front fender and made a couple of small dings, and a lawnmower handle caused a scrape on the passenger door. See photos of both these areas. All 5 spoke wheels look great, practically new tires. Air conditioning does not work but all the parts are there. I believe it is a burned-out fuse. Cloth top is in very good condition. Needs new carpet. Transmission slides out of third gear.

I'm the new owner of this car and I reside in Bend, OR. Car has undergone a repaint and appears to have a different transmission than the last post. Trunk and parts of the interior have undergone replacement. Looks like someone started to fully update the car and lost interest before they got all the way through the interior. One weird thing is it has a B&M drag shift linkage in it (which is coming out). Same top though but it is in need of replacement. Plan is to fully update this car and deal with the really weird rear light treatment. Will post updates as I progress.
