    Sellers description:
1970 Jaguar XKE SII 4.2 Roadster that is presentable as it is. The car is in metallic scarlet red with a black interior, a 4 speed transmission and factory air-conditioning. It is a one owner car, matching numbers and it comes with 2 tops. It was bought new by an army officer and he maintained it in good driving condition. Car was originally Primrose Yellow. It has been repainted 4 times and body work includes fiberglass floor pans and new rocker panels. Paint and chrome are presentable all around. Seats have been redone in leather, carpets have been replaced, convertible top is 7 years old and still in good condition. Mechanics are in good working order and recent work includes refreshed power steering and brake assist assembly. Car runs and drives very nice. Hardtop is in good condition. Car comes with the original window sticker, owner's manual, original Jaguar maintenance manual and many repair bills. Overall this is a nice and presentable Jaguar that is ready to be enjoyed.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
