Ebay item 1/20/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $5k (Reserve not met), 7 bids, 5 days left in auction.

Sellers comment:
1970 XKE Series 2 FHC w/original Strombergs, factory A/C and PS. Canary yellow with biscuit leather.

Vehicle Condition
Very restorable original condition. Multi-coat lacquer beginning to peel. Underside of bonnet has been rubbed and bent. Seats need recovering. Strong drivetrain, 100 miles on clutch, very good wires. Overheats after driving about 10 miles. Some cosmetic parts missing from complete dismantling upon last paint job in 1988. A/C and PS not working, of course, but all parts included.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
