Ebay item 11/2/04

Opening bid $2,000.00 (Reserve not met), no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1969 E-type XKE 2+2 Jaguar

This car belonged to my father who passed away in 2000. Must sell for estate purposes. My father rebuilt the motor approx. 1980 and put less than 100 miles on it. It has been stored in his warehouse since his ownership of the vehicle.

All the chrome is in very good condition. Black leather interior, a small tear in the rear seat. Dash is in great shape. Spoke rims have minor rust. Small ding in the rear. My knowledge on the vehicle is limited, my brother had the car previous to my father. Vehicle was appraised at 14,000. A copy can be provided upon request.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
