This is an auction for my 1969 series 2, 2+2 E-Type. I have owned the vehicle for about 10 years and there has only been one previous owner. I imported the car from California where it had been laid up for 11 years in an air conditioned garage. This vehicle has, quite literally, one previous lady owner! All its numbers match and I have a heritage certificate for it. It has 41,300 miles from new and has been fully converted to right hand drive including triple SU carbs. It has no rust and has never been wet apart from when washed! I have many many bills for it and it has only just had a complete engine rebuild. One the cosmetic side, the paint has a used patina, in other words, there are scratchs and minor dents as you would expect from an un-resprayed car of this age. It looks well though and still shines! Inside, it has new leather seat covers in the front but the rear ones are still to do. Other areas of trim need doing, such as the central console and various small areas. It has new front carpets as well. Basically, if you want a concours E-Type then this car is not for you. If however you want a rock solid vehicle to play with, do some gentle work on and use and enjoy, then this is for you!
